There is a common notion that potatoes make us fat. It seems to be one of those evil and forbidden foods, full of carbohydrates and calories. But the good news is that potatoes are not as bad as they seem to be. The potato is rich in complex carbohydrates, and adds fat to the body only when butter, cream or cheese are added.
